The Wavestone Radar of French Startups IoT B2B 2019

As part of the 2019 edition of SIDO, our partners, we invite you to discover our first edition of the Wavestone Radar of French IoT B2B startups!

Our criteria for selection:

Thanks to continuous and global monitoring of IoT players, we have established a list of more than 500 French IoT startups. We then evaluated the solutions and offers of each to validate their presence in our radar according to the following selection criteria:

Dedicated to the IoT B2B market;
Headquarter based in France;
35 employees or less;
8 years of existence or less.

Some facts to keep in mind:

A growing ecosystem, gathering more than 2000 employees throughout France.
A dozen major French cities concentrate the majority of startups. Paris leads with nearly a third of our young shoots, but many other major cities (Toulouse, Lille, Nantes, Lyon, Grenoble and Marseille) also know how to attract nuggets.
Significant fundraising – around 70 million euros for the 7 largest levies – and strong growth from one year to the next.
Three quarters of the startups target the following 11 sectors: Industry 4.0, Logistics, Retail, Health, Agriculture, Smart Building, Smart Grid, Smart Workplace, Smart City, Automotive & Aerospace.
The other quarter deals with transverse IoT issues such as: interoperability, security, energy harvesting or edge computing.
