Wavestone delivered an IT Transformation Programme for Lloyd’s of London Insurance Broker, RFIB to enable them to deliver significant future growth plans.
RFIB is a Lloyd’s insurance broker with a global presence, which is poised for significant growth over the coming years through a combination of expansion within existing markets and acquisition.
Challenges
RFIB had a requirement to improve the IT services and introduce more formal processes with KPIs to the IT systems. The existing environment was a mix of current and legacy technologies and there was a high level of dependency on Windows 2003.
The project had to be completed within a six month period and RFIB required specialist consultants to deliver the project within the required timeframe.

Wavestone advised on the process of migrating IT services to the new supplier and introduced change management processes to mitigate potential risks ensuring the transition would run smoothly:
