 When did you join Wavestone?

I joined Wavestone in May 2018. This was just before the operations expansion with the acquisition of Xceed, as well as growth in UK markets.

What projects have been working on since joining Wavestone?

Over my past year in Wavestone, I have been part of three projects: the first was to help an oil and gas provider implement a new banking platform across its group. Mainly dealing with user testing, we trialled the scope of the new application.   The second, a shorter project and more international, was to help a financial services company’s users migrate to a new, secure mobile messaging application. I particularly enjoyed this change management project as I was able to travel to Milan, Frankfurt, and Madrid. All Italian stereotypes are true. Currently I am in a cybersecurity project at another financial services firm.

What has been the biggest lesson you have learned since joining Wavestone?

A reaffirmation of one of my views I’ve seen at Wavestone is that is by being kind and positive, good things will happen in time. Be this on client site in trying to nudge clients to certain outcomes, or even internally when trying to develop, having a good-natured attitude will result in positive outcomes.

What are your aspirations for your career at Wavestone?

One of my goals at Wavestone is to get to a level to lead teams in client projects. Building the expertise and experience to get to that level will be a challenge, but one that I am willing to invest in.
